A Dallas nurse was cured from Ebola after treating a patient. Ebola has killed about 4,900 people since its been around. This disease has a mortality rate of about 70%. Many people who go to hospitals for fevers get tested for Ebola, a lot of the time they still get treated as an Ebola patient even if they tested negative for it.
Ebola is a scary disease, many people fear it and many people who've had it have died. I think putting someone into a quarantine even if they tested negative is a good thing for now because we need to take every precaution to make sure the spread of Ebola is slowed down or completely stopped.

Current Event 5:
A southbridge fugitive was seen in Ohio. The fugitives name is Gregory Lewis and he was convicted of sexually assaulting at least 6 women since hes left the state. This man was spotted in Columbus, Ohio and was seen making his way back to Massachusetts. This man had been on house arrest and fled after he cut off his ankle bracelet and fled. He still has yet to be found.
This is a scary situation. This man has assaulted multiple women and hes possibly making his way back to MA. I feel as though police should be doing anything and everything possible to be making our state a safe place to live.

Current event 4:
A sterling administrator, Jeffrey W. Ritter, dies due to a dental surgery gone wrong. Jeffrey was a well known man in the town of sterling, an icon to some people. Many people loved him and it was a sudden and unexpected death for the city.
This article makes me upset because dentists should have been more cautious about the surgery. This was a death that could have been prevented.
